Top 10 Excellent Ways to Get More Subscribers on Your Blog
Top 10 Excellent Ways to Get More Subscribers on Your Blog
If you are a blogger and you are blogging to make money you might be looking for some good traffic to your blog. Traffic is directly proportional to the revenue. More is the traffic, greater is the revenue. Even if you are looking for more subscribers, you need good traffic in your blog; however both are not directly proportional to each other. More traffic may not necessarily mean more subscribers. You have to do some extra efforts for getting more subscribers. There are certain factors which you need to consider if you want more subscribers for your blog.

The subscribers are actually the visitors who are the loyal readers of your blog posts. It won’t be an exaggeration if I say that subscribers are the life of the blog. Keep on reading to know about some tips to get more and more subscribers for your blog. No matter how high is the traffic of your blog, to get more subscribers, you need a group of people which click the Subscribe button on your blog, however it is easier said than done.
1. Simple Subscription Button
The subscription button should be placed after each post most preferably. Make it simple for the subscribers. Keep the option on every page of your blog. Make sure that the sidebar of every page starts with the email subscription and RSS. Keeping a simple and small subscription form just below the post helps to get as much subscribers than that of the form placed in the sidebar.

As readers probably visit your blog to read the content, and many of them won’t notice that there is a subscription button at the sidebar but they will surely notice at the post’s end after they complete reading it.
2. Reward the Visitors
You can set certain small rewards for the subscribers. These rewards may include some eBooks, audio CDs, e-Course etc. You can do this with RSS. Feedvertising is a plugin available in WordPress which will let you download the free gift page. This link will be visible only for the feed subscribers and not every visitor.

RSS giveaway is the best thing to do so. You can conduct a giveaway of small prizes and ask your subscribers to participate in it. They have to share your giveaway on Facebook and Twitter, Like the Post, Submit a Comment, Like your Fan Page, Follow your Twitter Account etc. These are the basic steps to maximize more chances of winning the giveaway.
3. Content is King
Only potential content is valued and goes viral giving you and your blog a great credibility and reliability. Excellent content may bring your more subscribers for your other posts in the blog. You can check it yourself, the blog having great content have more subscribers. That’s why you should be creative while writing your content.

Strong Content doesn’t only means you will write high quality points, rather adding images/pictures to with every point makes it eye catchy and your readers will read each and every line of your posts thoroughly with patience. Adding 3-4 links of your previous post will also make it relevant for the reader to get some more reference about the topic!
4. Networking

Make your own network. Do not rely on the other blog’s links and link exchanging programs. It hardly makes a difference in the number of subscriptions. There are huge number of bloggers who follow the networks of some pro bloggers and blog accordingly.
Well, it is not necessary that you have to follow the elders all the time ? Creating a self within you will make it others start following you. It’s never late for building up your own network. At the initial stage you might feel down and won’t get the desired results. But tomorrow always comes my friend! You may not get success in the first day, or the second day but you will surely get it on the third. So it’s all about your efforts. How true you are in establishing your needs. Once your network is set, you will hundreds and thousands of fan-followings.
All you need is to have patience!

5. Forums
Forums are the best place to make you prominent among bloggers and readers. People posting forums may notice your blog’s offerings here and may certainly subscribe to get more from your blog. Always be active in the popular forums like Digital Point Forums, Warrior Forums, so that people will notice your participation and interaction among the other users in the forums.

You’re always stalked when you participate in any topic inside the forums. People deliberately have eyes on every response you provide for/against the topic, as everyone is in the search for the correct answer/solution for their topics. Best replies are always appreciated by the forum moderators and the active participants.
Meanwhile, there are some social forums like Techism where Bloggers, SEO Experts, Social Mediologists, Adsense Expert and Website Designers can have chat and discussion. Most of the people spend their time on Facebook, so this group is a better hub where you can hangout with other experts and raise up your questions. This gives you popularity and a social personality. And yea, this is the only social group which provides giveaway to it’s members. Now it’s your luck whether you win it or not
Every year Techism Awards are held which includes different types of nominations. Prizes are distributed accordingly. It creates a lively atmosphere within the group.
6. Start Guest Blogging
Though guest blogging is not very popular but it is a great way to get exposure. Do not take it this way that you are posting for someone else’s blog, see it this way that you are getting a well settled platform to showcase your talent and skills. Make sure that you’re posting the guest posts in some reputed and ranked blogs.

Guest Posting in a High Ranked Blog is more effective, Rather than Commenting on the same blog. Because when you do guest post it is obvious that you will ask for 2-3 backlinks in the Author’s Bio or within the post. In a blog with high traffic people will read your posts and will provide their views and suggestions up on it. It will highlight your writing skills and how good your content is. Meanwhile in blog commenting there is a race of hundred-thousands commentators. In between them most of the times your comment gets sandwiched. No one looks your comment. There are quite few chances that you get a reply from them, but maximum times they don’t.
7.Create Subscription Landing Page
Creating a separate page for getting the subscription may let your user feel comfortable at subscribing. You can give this page a unique URL to get more sign ups. By doing this you will also make your subscriber feel that the subscription is worth it.

8. Be focused
Try focusing on a particular topic and try making the best for it. This will let your viewers and readers know that you are perfect in your particular niche. Giving too many topics but noting detailed will not do any good for you or your blog.
I don’t think there’s anything more important, or more challenging, than to keep your content focused on the subject matter and the goals you have for your blog. The deeper you dive into your subject area, the more you create community of the people who want to go deep with you. This is really critical to your success.

9. Mention Benefits of Subscription
Not everyone coming to your blog is a tech savy knowing the meaning and benefits of subscription. It is better to mention the benefits of getting subscription to your blog. Remember that people are not interested in something which is not beneficial. If you highlight the factors which are beneficial for the subscribers, then people will show more interest in the subscriptions. As it provides a clean sheet about the favorable effects of subscription.

10. Placement is Important
Make sure that your subscription form is placed in a proper place. Place the RSS icon clearly visible to the viewers. Email subscription link should be placed after the post. Most of the time post end placement stands out more beneficial than those which are placed in sidebars or embedded in plugins.

Loved it . One thing I must say really Graet use of images
Abhisek Das
Hello Aatif,
Thanks for dropping by. Glad that you liked the post. Well a content with proper utilization of images is just like a seed planted inside the earth without any availability of water. But sometimes without water, the seed starts to grow into a small plant by absorbing earth’s heat and underground moisture. So good content can go without the pictures but to make the most out of it, images are a must! One should always use at least 2-3 relevant images for the post. It gives more user readiness

Hey Abhisek placement of the subscriber box really helps, at times a scrolling one or a pop up subscriber box can get you a lot more subscribers than you can even think of.
