How to Add a Nokia Anna Dock to Your Windows 7 Desktop

You must be knowing what is a Dock if you are pretty possessive for your Desktop’s Style and Look Dock is an application that allows you to personalize and create an interactive universe on your Desktop. Nokia Anna is an update for Nokia Smartphones i.e. for Symbian Devices which gives you access to a whole range of improvements and features and significantly enhances the user experience on your phone. Steps

Nokia Anna Dock is actually a Widget Package of a xWidget. XWidget is a is a cool utility that allows you to customize your desktop with all the tools you need. It’s light, handy with powerful visual widget editor and very subtle animations. It requires WindowsXP/Vista/Windows7/Windows8 and has a more fast startup speed.

1. Download xWidget from here and install it  xWidget 1.2.3.1116 for Windows XP | Windows Vista | Windows 7 | Windows 8 (969)

2. After the installation is complete xWidget will connect to internet and will show the gallery window for some skins and widgets. Close it if you don’t need any.

3. Download the Nokia Anna Dock right away from here  Nokia Anna Dock – xWidget Package for Windows (569)

4. Extract the downloaded archive to a new folder. You’ll find a .xWidgetPkg file which is your Nokia Anna Dock. Click on it to install the widget.

5. Done. You’ll see your Dock at the desktop. Right click on the icons to set the shortcut settings and configure the icon. If you have an Anna Icon set you can replace those icons with your custom icons.

Seeing at the Dock, the Icons are limited. I mean there are just 12 icons which you can modify with new shortcuts but replacing those Anna icons with ordinary icons won’t look better.
