Google Panda Penalty

Google Panda is a recently updated algorithm by Google which is offering more accuracy and relevancy in search results. It is specially designed to filter those web pages which have low quality and plagiarized content. This algorithm works on several internal factors some of which are known and some of them are yet unknown. A website or a webpage, which is been penalized by panda will disappear from Google search index for few limited keywords. Since panda’s launch, website owners all over the world have made several changes in their websites to avoid getting panelized. The idea of this Google update is to remove spam contents and websites from the SERP’s in order to improve the quality of search results. Previously also, Google has introduced many changes to control spams, but panda is a comprehensive change by Google.

As per the facts this change from Google will affect the 12% of the search results in Google US. Google also acclaims that this is strictly done for those websites, which take contents from other similar sites, causing huge amount of duplicity in the web. This measure is been taken in response to complaints lodged by many websites to Google for checking the privacy level of their contents. Because of this they have suffered huge financial losses and loss of reputation in the web affecting their customer base. The smart panda is capable of identifying the original content and copied content between the two similar contents.

I don’t like the idea of Google penalizing me because I have a website and i list that website (which is about pizza) in the field above when I comment here. Your blog is not about pizza, so do they consider this an irrelevant backlink? If your comment system asked me to list my website, what right is it of Google to penalize me because I don’t have an tech blog to put down in the field for a website?

I’m not a panda fan. Oh, are they going to penalize me for that remark too?

      Hello Brian,

Well seriously you can’t trust Google, on which state it takes some action. Getting penalized is not thing, the thing why are you getting penalized ? What are the things you are lacking behind for which you have got downtrodden by Panda. And it is totally a misconception that people having sites other tech niche are not allowed to comment/interact in tech blogs; of course there’s no harm but Google takes it as an irrelevant back-link as it finds the niche to be not similar and indirectly you are just spamming for a back-link. You cannot define what are the strategies for Google penalizing someone. There are many panda haters including me too. But in your case, it wont penalize you for commenting over here !

Yes it is true. If you have any copied content then you can remove them to play fairer. If you take reference for some post from anywhere for like texts or pictures then do mention the source or credits to the original stuff. It helps you in better progressing and keeps you intact from Google!

I will consider these 4 ways you have listed on your blog post. as I go for my link building campaign I should have to avoid duplicated content and it’s important that we should prevent unnatural back links like irrelevant forums on a niche. meantime, I am now updating some website audits and try to recover the back links that is lost causing this Google panda update. one important thing is to keep writing a very fresh and unique article content on your website.
